Ich stelle mir nur die Frage, ob`s dem Motor im Sommer nicht zu warm wird??

Hab mir die Dichtung gleich bestellt. Vielen Dank für den Tipp...Hatte schon länger nach einer passenden Dichtung gesucht.

Da dürfte nichts passieren, da der Motor wassergekühlt ist und der dazugehörige Kühler hinter dem Kühlergrill sitzt und durch den Fahrtwind bzw. im Stand durch den dahinter sitzenden Lüfter gekühlt wird. Nachdem der Motorraum nach unten hin nicht komplett geschlossen ist, reicht dies im Stand völlig für die Motorkühlung aus.

On previous generation of Dacia, seal rubber could be applied not only at front but also in both sides.
New Dacia does not have that possibility.

My concern (off topic) is about water dribble to fuse box, because no gutter like on older Dacia.

What if car is standing on side-angle parking... water will dribble on fuse box, or I am wrong?

I know that rubber don't prevent water leak.

Here is the picture of old Logan.

Water ca not leak to fuse box.

What is preventing water leak on fuse box on new Dacia?

As I can see now, fuse box is well covered, better than at older Dacia, so wather can not cause problems.

Die zusätzliche Dichtung verhindert NICHT, das Wasser von oben rein läuft! Also ist die Situation mit ihr genau so, wie Original! Ich glaube nicht das es da zu Problemen kommt.

The additional sealing does not prevent, the water from above purely runs! So the situation with her is just, how original! I do not believe to problems with that! (Sorry about my bad english )

Ich habs beim Lodgy abgedichtet, es kommt von oben kein Wasser rein!
Vorne ist dicht und an den Kotflügeln läuft es über die Rinne ab.
Die Dichtung wurde an der Motorhaube, nicht auf der Quertraverse aufgebracht:

Don't press haube when closing, it is thin metal plate, you will bend it by pressing.

This dihtung is good for wind noise at high speeds also.

Wenn man das Blech von oben fallen lässt sind die Glühbirnen gefährdet. Diese gehen schneller kaputt.Mit Feingefühl die Haube schliessen

I have been closing Hauba with "free fall" from 10-15 cm of heigh, since 2008, and nothing broken yet.

My neighbour has been closing by pressing with hand, and after less than 2 years deformations are very visible.
